We’re looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end development of web applications, from crafting intuitive component-based UIs to architecting robust backend services and managing server-side infrastructure.

In this role you’ll maintain and expand our core applications built on Laravel and Vue/Nuxt. You’ll move between designing MySQL schemas, building RESTful APIs with Sanctum authentication, and developing real-time frontend features with Socket.io — writing clean, testable code along the way.

Key responsibilities

• Frontend development: build modular, reusable UI components with Vue 2 and Nuxt 2, manage state and routing across the Vue ecosystem, and integrate backend services with Axios.

• Backend architecture: develop and maintain server-side logic in PHP 8 (Laravel) and Node.js, implementing complex business logic in the Laravel service container and middleware.

• Database management: design efficient MySQL 8+ schemas, manage migrations and seeders, and optimise queries with indexes and raw SQL where needed.

• API design: create and document RESTful APIs following best practices for resource controllers, validation and JSON responses.

• Asynchronous processing: manage background tasks and scheduling with Laravel Queues (Redis/Database drivers) and cron-based task scheduling.

• DevOps and tooling: use Docker and Docker Compose for local development and deployment, and write shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

• Quality assurance: write unit tests with Jest and @vue/test-utils to keep the frontend stable and the code base healthy.

Technical qualifications

• Backend: proven experience with PHP 7.4/8.x, Docker, Docker Compose and Laravel 8 (routing, middleware, Sanctum).

• Frontend: strong proficiency in Vue 2, Nuxt 2, TypeScript and SCSS/CSS.

• Data and caching: solid understanding of MySQL (schema design, migrations) and Redis (caching, sessions and queue management).

• Real-time and APIs: experience with Socket.io, Laravel Echo and stateful/token-based auth via Axios.

• Version control: expert knowledge of Git — branching strategies, merge conflict resolution and PR workflows.

Preferred skills

• Troubleshooting failed queue jobs and optimising Redis key patterns.

• Shell scripting for environment setup and maintenance.

• Deep understanding of the Docker ecosystem for containerising multi-service applications.
